Well, I'm not sure how we got here, but it's already almost Ben's first Birthday! We had his party today, and it was a lot of fun. Grandma and Grandpa Dorman, Aaron, Amy and Thomas, Grandpa Dawson, Uncle Maddren and Aunt Patty came to the house this afternoon. First Ben opened his gifts. We gave him a chair for his room with his name on it, and he REALLY loves it, and he liked climbing up and down on it. He also got a Tickle Me Elmo, and a Benjamin Bunny book and a little Peter Rabbit game. Grandma and Granpda gave him a Fridge Farm toy, Aaron and Amy brought him a new hat and mittens, an adorable teddy bear, and a toy phone that he LOVES. Grandpa Dawson got him an outfit that matches the one he gave Jack last week, and Jack was VERY excited about that. Maddren and Pat also gave him some cute clothes. Auntie Debbie sent along a toy guitar, and Auntie Ruth had sent a great leap frog toy in the mail this week.
We had a nice dinner (ham, mashed potatoes and green bean casserole) and then we had cake. I had a "Benjamin Bunny" cake made by the grocery store, and they sent along a little individual sized cake for Benny. He dug right in, and had a lot of fun eating the frosting and then just examining the mess on his hands :)
Here's some video, and some of the best of the pictures
