Christmas morning was a lot of fun. Jack was SOOO into the whole thing, and it was just great to see his excitement and enthusiasm. Grandpa Sid came over to watch the kids open their gifts, which was fun. Ben didn't really understand the whole "opening" things concept, but he sure had fun once the packages were opened! Jack had asked Santa for pajamas, a snowglobe, and some cookies, and Santa delivered on all three fronts. The kids got matching penguin pajamas, which they wore to open presents. Santa also brought Jack a three foot tall Superman, which was definitely the highlight for him. Ben's favorite was definitely the little riding Fire Truck that Santa brought him, he likes to ride it up and down the hall saying "vroom vroom". He also really liked the Ball Pit he got from Jack (he can say "Ball" and "Balloon" now) Christie had asked for a Spirograph, and Santa came through with that too. Every year he leaves her a special gift with a clue that she has to figure out, he's been doing that since she was 5. This year, it took her 5 DAYS to work it out, but she eventually did (She gets to pick between going to Greenport NY with Mike or going to see Ruth in San Fran this summer). later in the afternoon we went to Debbie's house to see Mike's family, and then headed up to Estes (see Opening Presnents, Part 2
