The Halloween Party!

This Sunday we had our annual Halloween Party. This year the party was a blast! We had 25-30 kids, so luckily it was nice enough for them to play outside :) Christie and I have a good time getting ready every year, and this year we did a bunch of fun stuff. My favorites were the glitter coated pumpkins (I saw Martha Stewart do it on the View) Christie got a cookbook that had these adorable bugs, they were like Pigs in Blankets, but then you add antennae and legs, and decorate them with ketchup and mustard. They turned out really cute, and they were the hit of the party, we made 80 of them, and there were only 3 left at the end of the party. I also found some really cute ghost shaped cupcake tins, which were also really cute.

The kids all had a great time. We had just about every super hero there is, from Superman (Jack), to 3 Spidermen, a Hulk, and Mr. Incredible. There were friends from our neighborhood, from the Cottage, and St. Johns, and a whole bunch of our really good friends.

Ben fell asleep about 10 minute before the party started :) and spent the first half asleep on Daddy's lap, and the second half being cooed over by all the moms, which he loved. We never did get his costume on him, but we have other chances :)
