The County Bo Fair

This year we finally made it to the County Fair. We've never taken Jack before, so it was a lot of fun, and he had a great time. He really liked playing the "carny" games, and "won" some fun prizes. Christie went on some rides that turned out to be scarier than she expected :) Then Jack got to go on a pony ride. We watched some pole bending, and an event for little kids that involved pulling a ribbon off of a goat's tail, and had a lot of fun checking out the livestock and all of the 4H projects. We listened to some music and had a great evening.

Why do we call it the County Bo fair? When Christie was 5 or 6, we asked her if she wanted to go to the County Fair ... she replied no, they were taking her to the County BO fair with school (daycare). No matter how hard we tried, she would NOT be convinced that they were the same thing, and she was sure the one she was going to without us would be better!!! :)
