Jack's party was a lot of fun too. Not surprisingly, our own Jack Sparrow wanted a pirate party, so Mommy spent the week before the parties crafting not only the Diego cake for Ben's party, but a pirate ship cake as well. On the day of the party, one of the other moms was admiring the cakes, and Mike took full credit! Sadly, this particular mom was apparently quite gullible, and by the end of the following week, every Mom at the St Johns preK had been told that MIKE BAKED THE CAKE. I'm here to de-bunk that particular rumor once and for all.
Jack had a wonderful time. He and his friends swam first. We had about 25 kids total, and they all had a blast. After swimming, they had pizza and cake, and then the wild melee that was the gift opening portion of the day began. Jack has a really great bunch of friends. He goes to school with a bunch of really wonderful kids, and we were super exicted to share his birthday with them.
